THE BEAST AT YOUR DOOR

Steven Pressfield writes in "The War of Art"     "If Resistence couldn't be beaten, there would be no Fifth Symphony, no Romeo and Juliet, no Golden Gate Bridge. Defeating Resistance is like giving birth. It seems absolutely impossible until you remember that women have been pulling it off successfully, with support and without, for fifty million years."

Resistance is the enemy and it shows up in multiple forms.

We all experience it at times, or all the time, and to lesser or greater degrees.

Defeating it, and it can be defeated, is the only way to win through

FOR A NEW BEGINNING

"I have ceased to question stars and books; I have begun to listen to the teachings my blood whispers to me." Herman Hesse We can ignore our Callings until the whisper becomes a persistent chatter, or a roar. A beautiful reminder from John O'Donohue, quoted in "Wisdom@Work, The Making of a Modern Elder" by Chip Conley

THE OVERLOAD DILEMMA

It kicks us in the proverbial butt.

Overload. Over-stimulation.

There's too much noise, too much stress, too many demands, not enough money, not enough "me time"...

If we want to be successful in our life, and work, we need to schedule mindful white space in our day. Every day. Every week.

Here's a minute or two of tranquility. Silence.

ARE YOU AFRAID YOU'LL BE FOUND OUT...?

We can easily hide from doing the work we are drawn to create and share in the world. Perhaps we're afraid to be found out... We can compare ourselves to others. In the end, how does that help us move forward and share our unique gifts with the world?! If you're challenged, or stuck, sign up and get started with some great free information!
